Telescopic valves are used to adjust or drain the liquid overflow. These valves consist of two concentric tubes that move telescopically inside each other. The sealing mechanism of these two pipes is such that by changing the height of the upper pipe, the water level can be adjusted.

Telescopic valves are divided into two general categories in terms of flow regulation.

The first type of valves are designed and manufactured to regulate the flow from the tank adjacent to the valve installation site, and thus the water of the side tank can be adjusted. These valves are used in the primary and secondary sedimentation tanks of the treatment plants.

The second type of valves are designed and manufactured to adjust the water level of the tank where the valve is installed. Using this group of valves, the amount of output current from the tank can be adjusted or cut off if necessary.
